Making Referrals to the EAP
When addressing employee work performance or behavior issues, the most important thing you can do as a manager is to take the time to prepare for the conversation. Your Employee Assistance Staff can guide you in this process. Call EAP to consult with a counselor on the best way to approach those difficult conversations. We can help you focus on the expectations you have of your employee so that you can effectively communicate those expectations. EAP will maintain continuing dialogue with the referring party throughout the EAP service delivery process, subject to confidentiality constraints.
